Covid-19 Precautions
In March of 2020, Dream Catcher went on lockdown to prevent the intrusion of Coronavirus. That same month, we installed i-Wave Air Purifications systems on each of the home’s 3 air conditioners. The i- Wave system uses bi-polar ionization to continuously clean and decontaminate the indoor air and surfaces. Since installation, studies have shown bi-polar ionization effective against, MRSA, SARS, norovirus, mold and bacteria*, and now Coronavirus.**
We have had no cases of Coronavirus.
While we are on lockdown, we do allow personal visits outside on the back porch, behind plexiglass. Families can also visit via Facetime, Skype, duo or other media. Residents and staff temperatures are taken daily. Masks are mandatory. Caregivers also wear face shields when working face to face with the residents. Doctor and nurse appointments are now virtual, or if in person, on the back porch.
